Configure your Odeus workspace from initial setup to full customization. This guide covers access, branding, models, and product capabilities.
Access & Sign-in
Set up how people join and access your workspace in the general settings:
- Authentication: Users sign in with email magic-link / OTP or Google OAuth. Internal SSO hand-off is supported.
- Domain-based access: Allow users with specific email domains to join automatically.
- User invitations: Invite members manually and control whether existing members can invite others.
SAML (Entra/Okta) and SCIM provisioning are on the roadmap and not yet available.
Members and Roles
Members: Manage users in member settings to invite users, assign roles, and remove members. Seats are enforced against your plan.
Roles: Odeus uses four roles — Owner, Admin, Billing, and Member. See permission recommendations for how to assign them.
Teams: Group users into teams to make sharing agents, prompts, and folders easier.
General Workspace Settings
Configure your workspace identity in general settings:
- Workspace logo: Upload your company logo.
- Workspace name: Your company or team name.
- Workspace description: Context about your company that is sent with every prompt.
Branding & Customization
Customize appearance in customization settings:
Visual branding:
- Primary color: Your brand hex color for buttons and highlights.
- Home background image: Custom image for the home screen.
- Greeting text color: Appears after a home background image is set.
- Logo options: Show your workspace logo in new chats, or replace model logos with your workspace logo.
Chat settings:
- Chat disclaimer: Short warning text below the input field.
Custom navigation links: Add links in the navigation with a chosen icon, name, and URL.
Prompt recommendations: Suggested prompts shown to users on a new chat.
Sharing disclaimers:
- Knowledge folder sharing disclaimer (Markdown supported).
Model Configuration
Configure models in model settings:
- Default chat model: Model used for new conversations and agents.
- Active models: Enable or disable specific models. The catalog includes Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, and Mistral (DeepSeek coming soon).
- Knowledge Hub embedding model: Choose the embedding model (OpenAI 3-small / 3-large, Jina, Cohere, Voyage) and reranker.
- Deep Research models: Deep Research lets you choose models per run (backbone, reasoning, and fast-reasoning roles) with a depth control.
Product Capabilities
Control which features are available to users in product settings:
Chat capabilities (chat settings):
- Web search
- Chat sharing
- Memory (long-term and short-term)
- Voice input (speech-to-text)
Agent settings:
- Who can create and share agents
- Attached knowledge, tools, and pinned model per agent
Workflow settings:
- Who can create and share workflows
- Spend limits
Filling the Agent and Prompt Libraries
Give users a head start with example use cases:
- Add workspace-level agents (help chatbots, specialized assistants).
- Create shared prompts (email templates, translation, grammar correction).
- Browse agent templates for inspiration.
Present these in onboarding sessions and check-ins with your users.
