Connect Databricks to Odeus to explore your Unity Catalog and discover data assets from your conversations

    Overview

Databricks is a unified analytics platform for data engineering, data science, and machine learning. Once connected, you can use Odeus to explore your Unity Catalog — browsing catalogs, schemas, and tables, and searching for datasets directly from your conversations.

Authentication: API Key (Personal Access Token) Category: Data & Analytics Availability: All workspace plans

    Prerequisites

    • A Databricks workspace with Unity Catalog enabled
    • Permission to generate personal access tokens in your workspace

    Setup

Follow [Databricks' guide on Personal Access Tokens](https://docs.databricks.com/en/dev-tools/auth/pat) to generate a token in your workspace settings.

Your workspace URL is the base URL you use to access Databricks, e.g. `https://your-workspace.azuredatabricks.net` or `https://your-workspace.cloud.databricks.com`.

Go to [Integrations](https://app.odeus.ai/integrations) and find **Databricks** in the list.

Enter your workspace URL and personal access token, then save.

Tag the integration with `@` in any agent to start exploring your data catalog.

    Common Use Cases

    • Catalog Discovery — Browse catalogs, schemas, and tables across your Unity Catalog

    • Table Exploration — Get detailed metadata for tables including column types, descriptions, and tags

    • Data Search — Search for tables by name across catalogs when you know part of the dataset name

    • Volume Browsing — List volumes within schemas to find unstructured data storage locations
